Standard Advance Steel profiles usually do not have an item code. This is different, however, in modular steel construction. There, the profiles have their own item code. 

With the "Update Item Code" function, you have the option to have the item codes updated fully automatically for all components in your DWG. The update only works for profiles that were supplied by our extension.
