4.2.1. Mode Selection

The ribbon includes a dropdown combo box with three modes:

• Weld – Acts on weld joints along a pipeline.
• Spool: – Acts on spool segments (groups of parts between welds).
• Part: – Acts on individual piping components (pipes, fittings, etc.).

Select the desired mode before using any of the three action buttons. The selected mode will persist across commands.
