14.3. Termination and Renewal
Cancellation and Renewal
The use of SuCri is bound to a valid license that requires regular renewals. In this chapter, you will learn everything you need to know about the terms for ordinary and extraordinary cancellation and the modalities of license renewal.
1. Cancellation
Regarding the termination of your usage relationship, the following provisions apply:
- Ordinary Cancellation: Cancellation of the license must be carried out by you in writing. Please note that license periods already paid for cannot be refunded.
- Extraordinary Cancellation: IntegaDesign is entitled to terminate the license with immediate effect if:
- the terms of use are violated (for example, by bypassing the license protection).
- abusive or unlawful use is detected.
Upon the effectiveness of the cancellation, your right to use SuCri expires immediately. In this case, all components of the software must be removed from your systems.
2. Renewal
To ensure uninterrupted use, licenses are managed as follows:
- Automatic Reminder: You will be informed by the system in good time before a time-limited license expires.
- Renewal: By default, licenses renew automatically for the same period agreed upon at the time of the original contract conclusion, unless this has been explicitly excluded.
- License Transfer: When changing workstations, you have the option to transfer the license to another computer via the Push/Pull process.
- Upgrade to Higher Versions: Existing licenses can be expanded to higher functional packages (for example, additional modules) if required.
3. Note
Please note that SuCri can no longer be started after the license term expires without timely renewal. Individual regulations for maintenance contracts or multi-user licenses are specified separately in your specific contract.
