8.4.1. Problem when connecting Sikla-Pressix CC41 profiles in Advance Steel (Module 3)
8.4.1. Connection Issue with Sikla-Pressix CC41 Profiles in Advance Steel (Module 3)
In this article, you will learn how to handle connection problems with Sikla-Pressix CC41 profiles within SuCri Module 3 in Advance Steel. Since new connections are implemented based on the manufacturer, a specific process is required for integration.
Prerequisites
- Installation of Advance Steel
- Active SuCri Module 3
- Use of Sikla-Pressix CC41 profiles in your project
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Identify the problem
Check whether a pre-selection appears via the Selection-Method when selecting a connection (e.g., a Clamping Bow SB 41 for connecting a Pressix CC41 MS41/41/2.0 to an HEB100).
-
Determine missing connection
If no pre-selection appears for the selected Pressix CC41 profiles, it is because this specific connection is currently not yet stored in the SuCri database.
Expected result: You notice that, unlike SiFramo profiles, no automatic assignment takes place.
-
Initiate request to the manufacturer
Since new connections are specifically implemented by IntegaDesign following an official order, contact the manufacturer directly (e.g., Sikla).
-
Commissioning the integration
The manufacturer can then commission IntegaDesign with the technical integration of the new connection solutions.
-
Await update
Once implemented by IntegaDesign, the new connections will be available in a future update of SuCri Module 3.
Important Notes
- Background: While SiFramo connections are already comprehensively integrated, extensions for Pressix CC41 profiles must be commissioned individually.
- Availability: Until official integration, only the standard connections already stored in SuCri can be used.
Troubleshooting
- Missing pre-selection: If no result appears in the Selection-Method, first check whether you are using a profile that is already supported. If not, follow the process described above via the manufacturer.
