4.1.6. Changing Support Heights and Support Types

It often happens that conditions change during the planning process and you as a planner must react to them. In this article, you will learn how to swap already placed primary supports by a simple index change without having to perform time-consuming repositioning.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Select the desired support in your model that you wish to edit.
2. Open the Properties window for the component.
3. Go to the Component Parameters menu within the properties.
4. Find the field SupportHeight (for the support height) or SupportType (for the support type).
5. Adjust the corresponding value according to the specifications on your IndexSheet.

Expected Result: By changing the SupportHeight or SupportType property, the support automatically adjusts within the model. All associated labels and technical properties are consistently updated by the system.
