Plant 3D™ Content Packs
Ready-to-use component catalogs for Plant 3D™. Manufacturer-accurate and datasheet-based

Ready-to-use, parametric and Python-based component catalogs for AutoCAD Plant 3D™. Every manufacturer pack is datasheet-based, developed from the original datasheets of leading vendors — Endress+Hauser, Georg Fischer, Swagelok or Dockweiler. Geometry packs such as the cable tray catalog offer flexible, freely adaptable base geometries for your project.

Technology & Quality

What sets Content Packs apart from standard Plant 3D™ components

Plant 3D™ already includes a library of parametric standard components — generic geometries with few configuration options. Sufficient for norm-based fittings. Once real manufacturer accuracy is required, it falls short: geometries look generic, manufacturer-specific attributes are missing, and a complete nominal size series based on the actual datasheet is not available. Content Packs close this gap.

Manufacturer-accurate, not generic

Standard components in Plant 3D™ deliver schematic geometries — functional, but not manufacturer-specific. Content Packs are developed directly from the current Technical Datasheets: accurate dimensions, end connections, nominal sizes, and pressure ratings.

More parameters, more control

Standard components offer limited configuration. Content Packs are significantly richer in parameters: nominal size, pressure class, connection type, manufacturer-specific attributes — all adjustable, all variants covered in a single script.

Ready to use from day one

Content Packs are delivered fully configured: geometry, connection points, attributes, and spec linkage are productive from the first day. No manual component assembly, no datasheet cross-checking.

Manufacturer logic built in

Automatic flange selection by pressure class, weld loss for Georg Fischer fittings, hygienic connection types for Endress+Hauser — logic that standard components cannot represent is hard-coded into Content Packs.

Integration without project rework

Content Packs attach to your existing catalog and spec structure. No modification of existing piping specs, no migration of active projects required.

Company-specific extensions

Missing a manufacturer or component family? Content Packs for your own vendors, proprietary components, or custom parts based on your datasheets are developed on request — as standalone packs or extensions to existing catalogs.

Implementation

From request to productive use

Between your request and the first placed manufacturer component, less than five business days typically elapse. No complex onboarding, no restructuring of existing projects.

01

Select & test

Choose from the available manufacturer catalogs or contact us for company-specific requirements. We advise on which pack fits your workflow.

02

Integration & initial configuration

Our engineers attach the Content Pack to your catalog structure. Connection types, spec linking, and attribute mapping are verified and adjusted as needed.

03

Productive use

From day one, you model with manufacturer-original geometries. Search, place, done — no manual geometry maintenance, no datasheet cross-checking.

Industries & Applications

Which projects Content Packs are built for

Content Packs are used in demanding engineering environments — wherever manufacturer components must appear exactly, completely, and performantly in the model.

Pharmaceutical & Food Industry

Cleanroom plants and GMP-compliant facilities require component accuracy to manufacturer specification. Packs for Endress+Hauser instrumentation and Dockweiler high-purity systems deliver GMP-compliant geometries directly from the current datasheet.

  • Endress+Hauser Promag, Promass, Prosonic — fully parametric
  • Dockweiler high-purity piping systems (Imperial & Metric)
  • Hygienic connection types: Clamp, Tri-Clamp, SMS thread
  • Attribute mapping for GMP-compliant BOMs

Process & Chemical Industry

Georg Fischer PVDF piping systems and Swagelok fluid components are available parametrically for all nominal sizes, with seamless integration into existing piping specs.

  • Georg Fischer SYGEF PVDF, PROGEF Standard, Type 546/566
  • Swagelok fitting systems in all nominal sizes
  • Integration into existing DIN/EN piping specs
  • Automatic attribute mapping for MTO output

ASME Projects & International Standards

ASME B36.10/B36.19 piping systems and ASME B16.5 flange components are available as standalone packs — in the same Plant 3D™ environment as European DIN/EN standards.

  • ASME B16.5 flanges in all pressure classes (150 lb – 2500 lb)
  • ASME B16.9 fittings, seamlessly integrated into existing specs
  • Parallel use with DIN/EN packs in the same project
  • Standards-compliant attribute mapping for international BOMs

Water & Wastewater

Municipal and industrial wastewater projects use prefabricated catalogs for standards-compliant flanged connections, fittings, and cable tray components — no manual geometry creation.

  • DIN-standard flanged connections PN 6 to PN 40
  • Cable tray and cable basket components per manufacturer spec
  • Company-specific components available on request
  • Pressure Equipment Directive-compliant attribute mapping

FAQ

Content Packs · Technical FAQ

Content Packs are tested with AutoCAD® Plant 3D™ 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. For older versions, please contact us; backward compatibility is achievable in many cases.

No. These are independent adaptations of manufacturer catalogs, developed by IntegaDesign GmbH. Geometries are based on publicly available Technical Datasheets. No cooperation agreements exist with the named manufacturers.

Plant 3D™ already includes a library of parametric standard components — generic geometries with few configuration options that are sufficient for general standard fittings. Content Packs go significantly further: developed directly from manufacturer Technical Datasheets, they provide a complete nominal size series in a single script, richer parameters, and manufacturer-specific attributes. The result is a component that matches the original in dimension and logic — ready to use from day one, with no manual rework.

Yes. We develop company-specific Content Packs based on your specifications, datasheets or existing geometries. This also includes extending existing packs with custom components from your suppliers.

After your inquiry we discuss which Content Pack fits your workflow, clarify the appropriate license model and provide a quote. After order placement the license is set up and the pack is integrated into your Plant 3D™ environment.

Content Packs are sold as a one-time license with no maintenance contract. On a Plant 3D™ version upgrade, migration responsibility lies with the licensee. IntegaDesign supports migration on request.

Plant designers, CAD administrators and engineering offices that regularly work with manufacturer-original components in AutoCAD® Plant 3D™. Typical fields are pharma, food, chemicals, process and water industries as well as special machinery.

More than eight Content Packs are immediately available today, including Endress+Hauser (hygiene and process), Georg Fischer (piping systems), Swagelok (fluid components), Dockweiler and ASME standard parts for US projects. A full list is shown in the pack overview above.

Custom XML catalogs noticeably slow down Plant 3D™ once a project reaches a few thousand components. Python-based Content Packs compute geometries at runtime, the data footprint stays small and the model remains responsive even on large plants.

A compact component family with clear datasheets is available within two to four weeks. Larger manufacturer catalogs with multiple product lines take longer. After the initial inquiry you receive a binding delivery date.
