8.5.3. Connection issue with Sikla-Pressix CC41 profiles in Advance Steel (Module 3)
In this article, you will learn how to handle connection problems with Sikla-Pressix CC41 profiles within SuCri Module 3 in Advance Steel. We explain the background of connection availability and the implementation process by the manufacturer.
Prerequisites
- Installed SuCri Module 3 in Advance Steel.
- Use of Sikla-Pressix CC41 profiles (e.g., Pressix CC41 MS41/41/2.0).
Step-by-Step Guide
-
Identify the problem:
Check whether no pre-selection appears when connecting a Pressix CC41 profile to another component (e.g., an HEB100 beam) via the Selection-Method.
Expected result: In the current configuration, the desired connection (e.g., Beam Clamp SB 41) is not displayed in the menu.
- Check the background: Confirm whether it is a SiFramo profile (these are stored by default) or a Pressix CC41 profile. For the latter, specific connections such as the Beam Clamp SB 41 on HEB beams are currently not yet stored in the SuCri database.
- Contact the manufacturer: Since new connections are not automatically integrated, they must be specifically commissioned. Contact the manufacturer (Sikla) directly and request the desired connection solution.
- Wait for implementation: Once the manufacturer has officially commissioned IntegaDesign with the integration, the connection will be programmed. After a corresponding update, the new connections will be available in SuCri Module 3.
Important Notes
- Best Practice: Until implementation, only use the connection types that are already available and stored.
- Note: Integration takes place exclusively after official manufacturer commissioning by Sikla to IntegaDesign.
Troubleshooting
- Missing selection: If no profiles are available for selection via the Selection-Method, this is usually due to a component combination that has not yet been stored in the SuCri database.
