Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Importing Python Components
This function allows you to integrate specific Python-based components into your project.
- Start the import command by entering
PlantRegisterCustomScriptsinto the command line. - Select the desired component family in the dialog window.
- Define the distance for placement as prompted by the system and start the import process.
Expected Result: The selected components are registered at the defined position in the model and are ready for further use.
Step 2: Updating a Piping Spec
To ensure all data is up to date, you can trigger synchronization manually.
- Open the Piping Spec Management within the module interface.
- Click the Update button to synchronize all links and components with the database.
Expected Result: The system reconciles local data with the source and updates all changed parameters in the piping spec.
Important Notes
- Ensure you have sufficient user rights in the project directory before importing scripts.
- Perform piping spec updates regularly to avoid consistency issues between the model and the database.
