In this section, you will gain practical insights into working with the module. These step-by-step examples will help you efficiently implement standard workflows and optimally integrate SuCri's functions into your workflow.

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    Step 1: Importing Python Components

This function allows you to integrate specific Python-based components into your project.

    1. Start the import command by entering PlantRegisterCustomScripts into the command line.
    2. Select the desired component family in the dialog window.
    3. Define the distance for placement as prompted by the system and start the import process.

Expected Result: The selected components are registered at the defined position in the model and are ready for further use.

Step 2: Updating a Piping Spec

To ensure all data is up to date, you can trigger synchronization manually.

    1. Open the Piping Spec Management within the module interface.
    2. Click the Update button to synchronize all links and components with the database.

Expected Result: The system reconciles local data with the source and updates all changed parameters in the piping spec.

    Important Notes

    • Ensure you have sufficient user rights in the project directory before importing scripts.
    • Perform piping spec updates regularly to avoid consistency issues between the model and the database.
