4.1.5. Calculation of Wafer (WF) Type Bolts
“Wafer” type bolts pass through two flanges and a valve body. The calculation includes:
- Contribution of the nut (nut thickness × number of nuts)
- Contribution of the washer (washer thickness × number of washers)
- Contribution of the additional length
- Length of the valve body (from the valve's
"Length"property) - Stub end offsets on both sides (if applicable)
- Flange thicknesses for both sides
