4.3.7. Placement of Fastenings

Places support elements at regular intervals along selected pipe runs.
Ribbon Button: AutoRouting > Place Fastening
Command: PiCriPlaceFixingItems
When called, a dialog box appears with the following fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Support Type | Select the type of support element from the drop-down list. The available options are loaded from the Plant 3D project. |
| Spacing (mm) | The spacing between support elements along the pipeline in millimeters. |
| Start Spacing (mm) | The distance from the beginning of the pipe run to the first support element in millimeters. |
Click "OK" to place the supports, or "Cancel" to cancel the operation. The values for spacing and start spacing are saved between sessions.
