Installing PiCri for AutoCAD Plant 3D is a straightforward process. Thanks to automatic integration, the full range of functions is available to you immediately after setup, without the need for complex manual adjustments to your CAD environment. This guide will show you how to set up the software correctly.
Step-by-Step Installation of PiCri
Follow these steps to successfully install PiCri on your system and integrate it into your work environment:

Step 1: Run the installation file
Start the installation process by double-clicking the executable PiCri installation file (
.exe). Make sure you have the necessary administrator rights. -
Step 2: Follow the setup wizard
Follow the instructions of the installation wizard on your screen. The wizard will guide you through the selection of the installation path and copy the required software components to your system.

Step 3: Start AutoCAD Plant 3D
After the installation is complete, open your AutoCAD Plant 3D application as usual. PiCri detects the installed version and integrates itself automatically into the existing environment.
Automatic Configuration and Integration
After installation, no additional manual configuration is required. PiCri is automatically loaded and initialized when AutoCAD Plant 3D starts.
You will find the new PiCri tab in your ribbon interface directly next to the standard Plant 3D tabs. Via this central interface, you can immediately access all tools and functions of the module.
