4.2.47. Option switch for license pull behavior (SuCriAutoPullLicense)

    Overview

The option switch for license pull behavior defines whether SuCri automatically pulls the last active licenses again when Plant 3D starts. This is switched on by default. If you share licenses with colleagues, you usually switch it off so that a license is not occupied at every start.

Where can I find the function?

The switch has no button in the ribbon. Enter SuCriAutoPullLicense in the command line.

    How it works in detail

The command line prompts Auto pull actived licenses when start up: with the options Yes and No. The currently saved value is suggested. Your choice is saved permanently in the user settings and applies from the next start.

    • Yes: At startup, SuCri retrieves the licenses of your customer account and reactivates the license keys that were active last time and are still available.
    • No: At startup, no license is pulled automatically. You pull and return licenses manually in the license management.

    Application examples

Example 1: Shared license in the team

Two people use one license alternately. Both set the switch to No and only pull the license in the license management when they are working with SuCri.

    Tips and best practices

    • Switch off for shared licenses: Otherwise the first start of the day occupies the license, even if nobody is working with SuCri.
    • Do not forget to return: Without automatic pulling, returning is also your task, via the license management.

    Troubleshooting

    • License is occupied despite No: The setting only takes effect at the next start. Check the value by calling the command again; the current value is displayed as the default.
    • License missing after start despite Yes: Only licenses that were last active and are still available in the customer account are restored. Pull the license in the license management.
