Prerequisites

  • You have reached the specified minimum number of licenses.
  • The specific silent installer has been provided to you by our support.
  • A central software deployment system is optionally available.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Requesting the installer: Contact our support to receive the silent installer tailored to your environment as well as the associated technical documentation.

  2. Integration into the deployment system: Integrate the provided installation package into your existing deployment strategy (e.g. Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune or baramundi).

  3. Configuration of the parameters: Store the necessary installation options and configuration parameters in your deployment tool according to the provided enterprise documentation.

  4. Rollout execution: Start the automated distribution. The installer performs the copying of the module files, the setting up of the directory structures and the license registration in the background.

Expected result: The module is installed uniformly and ready for use on all target workstations, without any manual interaction by the end users being required.

Important notes

  • The silent installer operates entirely without user interaction and is therefore ideally suited for locked-down or heavily regulated IT infrastructures.
  • Make sure that sufficient write permissions exist in the clients' target directories at the time of the rollout.
