In this article you will learn how to change the display language of the Manufacturing Tooling Operator (MTO). Adjusting the language is essential to ensure a user-friendly working environment for international teams and to avoid operating errors.
Prerequisites
- You have an active user account with the required permissions.
- The desired language is already preinstalled or activated in the system.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open the main menu of the MTO and navigate to the Settings.
- In the User settings area, look for the Language field (or Language).
- Select the desired target language from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Save button (or Save) to apply the changes.
Result: The MTO user interface is now displayed in the language you selected.
Important notes
- The language switch usually only affects the static interface elements (menus, buttons), not user-specific free-text entries.
- Make sure that after the switch all relevant terms for your processes are translated correctly.
Troubleshooting
- Language is not applied: Reload the page in your browser (F5) to refresh the cache.
- Desired language is missing: Contact your administrator to enable additional language packs in the system.
