Finding the storage location of the SuCri patcher after a version update

After installing a new SuCri version, it can happen that the SuCri patcher can no longer be found at its usual storage location. This article explains why the path has changed and how to locate the application in your user directory.

Prerequisites

  • A current version of SuCri is installed on your system.
  • You have the necessary user rights for your local AppData directory.

Step-by-step guide

Previously, the patcher was located in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\IntegaDesign GmbH\SuCri. To find the patcher at the new, user-specific location, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Windows Explorer.
  2. Click into the address bar of the Explorer.
  3. Enter the path %APPDATA%\IntegaDesign GmbH\ and confirm with the Enter key.
  4. In the folder that opens, look for the file SuCri Patcher and start it by double-clicking.

Expected result: The patcher starts as usual from the user-specific directory.

Important notes

  • Background of the change: The storage location was changed in order to avoid compatibility problems with write rights in the Program Files directory.
  • File management: Do not move the patcher manually. It is managed automatically in the correct user path during updates.
