Storage location of the SuCri patcher

In this article you will learn where to find the SuCri patcher for your modules and why the storage location was changed. This is particularly important in order to correctly apply updates or corrections for your modules.

Prerequisites

  • You are using a current version of the SuCri modules.
  • The software installation was completed fully.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Windows Explorer on your system.
  2. Copy the following path into the address bar or navigate there manually:
    %AppData%\IntegaDesign GmbH\SuCri\Modul3
  3. Confirm with the Enter key.

Result: You are now in the current directory of the SuCri patcher and can run the required corrections or updates.

Important notes

  • Change of the directory structure: In earlier versions the patcher was located in the %ProgramData% folder. In current versions it is stored on a per-user basis in the %AppData% directory.
  • Benefit: This change makes the installation user-specific and considerably more update-friendly.
  • Search: If you have problems, no longer look in the old path ProgramData, but exclusively in the new path under AppData.

Troubleshooting

If the patcher cannot be found in the specified path, please check whether the installation of the modules was completed fully and without error messages. A reinstallation of the module components may be necessary.
