Termination and renewal

The use of SuCri is tied to a valid license that requires regular renewals. In this chapter you will learn everything worth knowing about the conditions for an ordinary as well as an extraordinary termination and the modalities of the license extension.

1. Termination

With regard to ending your usage relationship, the following provisions apply:

• Ordinary termination: A termination of the license must be carried out by you in writing. Please note that already paid license periods cannot be refunded.
• Extraordinary termination: IntegaDesign is entitled to terminate the license with immediate effect, provided that:
  • the terms of use are violated (for example by circumventing the license protection).
  • an abusive or unlawful use is detected.

Once the termination takes effect, your right to use SuCri expires immediately. In this case, all components of the software must be removed from your systems.

2. Renewal

To ensure uninterrupted use, the licenses are managed as follows:

• Automatic reminder: You will be informed by the system in good time before a time-limited license expires.
• Extension: Licenses are extended automatically by default for the same period that was agreed when the contract was originally concluded, unless this has been expressly excluded.
• License transfer: When changing your workstation, you have the option to transfer the license to another computer via the Push/Pull procedure.
• Upgrade to higher versions: Existing licenses can be extended to higher function packages (for example additional modules) if needed.

3. Note

Please note that SuCri can no longer be started after the license term expires without timely renewal. Individual arrangements for maintenance contracts or multiple licenses are defined separately in your specific contract.
