4.4.15. Open connection dialog (SuCri3ShowSelectConnection)

Overview

These instructions describe the function Open connection dialog (SuCri3ShowSelectConnection) of SuCri, a plugin for AutoCAD Plant 3D and Advance Steel. The function opens the connection dialog for selecting and editing connections.

Where do I find the function?

Call it via the command SuCri3ShowSelectConnection or via the ribbon SuCri > Module 3.

How it works in detail

1. Call the function:

   Call the function via the ribbon SuCri > Module 3 or enter the command SuCri3ShowSelectConnection in the command line.

2. Open dialog or file:

   SuCri opens the associated view, dialog or file.

3. Use the result:

   Read out the displayed information or make the desired settings.

Tips and best practices

• Read-only: Opening the dialog or file does not change the construction.
• In case of errors: The error log file helps to narrow down the causes of problems.

Troubleshooting

• "File does not exist": The error log file is only created once an error has occurred.
• "Dialog does not open": Make sure that the SuCri plugin is loaded.
