Module 1: Integration and component use

In this article you will learn how to integrate the components of Module 1 into your project environment and use them efficiently. Since this module does not have a separate user interface, its use takes place directly through the familiar workflows within your project.

Prerequisites

• You must have a valid license for Module 1.
• You need access to the corresponding pipe class files.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Import the desired components into your current project via a pipe class.

2. Open the tool palette in your application. The imported components are now available to you there and can be placed directly in the model.

3. Check the display in the ribbon. There you are shown the icon for the License Manager, via which you can manage your license status.

Expected result: The components are successfully integrated into your project and can be used without an additional program interface.

Important notes

• No separate interface: Note that there is no standalone program interface for Module 1; the functionality is fully integrated into the existing tool palette.
• License status: Make sure that the License Manager is active in the ribbon to ensure smooth operation of the components.
