Overview
Create multiple drawings derives any number of assemblies in one pass. In most projects there are not two or three SuNos but considerably more, and that is exactly where the time savings lie.
Once set up, deriving all drawings is a single click.
Where do I find the function?
In the Module 4 window under Automatic drawings. Alternatively via the command line with SuCri4PlantOrthoCreateMultipleSU.

How it works in detail
First you define the storage location, where here too subfolders each with their own DWT template can be created. Then you select the assemblies to be derived, with Select All also all at once, and start with Create.
SuCri then works through the list and applies to each drawing what was defined once in the template: front view, side view, ISO view, bill of materials, item numbers, dimensioning, labeling, title block and, if required, a location plan with coordinates. At the end a text message reports the successful completion.
Application examples
Example 1: Derive project completely
All assemblies are defined. You select the storage location, Select All, Create and let SuCri run through. What takes hours by hand runs through in the background.
Example 2: Separate by drawing type
Via subfolders with their own templates, different drawing types are created in the same pass without you having to change anything in between.
Tips and best practices
- The template is a one-time effort: The entire benefit depends on it being set up cleanly once.
- Define front view beforehand: For assemblies standing at an angle, otherwise rework with
SuCri4SelectFrontView. - Note the completion message: It tells you whether all drawings were created.
