12.2. Acknowledgment of third-party providers

This chapter gives you an overview of the external technologies and partners that contribute to the performance of SuCri. The following sections are divided into the areas of platform provision by Autodesk®, the integration of manufacturers' component libraries, the use of open source technologies and supplementary database and export tools.

1. Autodesk®

• AutoCAD®, Plant 3D™ and Advance Steel™ form the base platforms for SuCri.
• Thanks to the official bundle interface, SuCri can be integrated seamlessly.
• The PnP databases from Autodesk allow extension with pipe specs, profiles and user-defined content.

2. Manufacturers of component libraries

• Several manufacturers of pipe support and fastening systems provide product data that is integrated into SuCri. You can see which manufacturers are available to you from the manufacturer buttons in the SuCri ribbon.
• This manufacturer-based data guarantees practical planning and high quality bills of materials.

3. Open source community

• SuCri is based on .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 8 and .NET 10, depending on the Autodesk version.
• For user interfaces, database access, table export and automation, SuCri uses the following libraries, among others: MaterialDesignThemes, MaterialDesignColors, CommunityToolkit.Mvvm, Microsoft.Xaml.Behaviors.Wpf, PropertyChanged.Fody, ClosedXML, DocumentFormat.OpenXml, ExcelNumberFormat, XLParser, Irony, DynamicExpresso, Newtonsoft.Json, RestSharp, FastCloner, SixLabors.Fonts and System.Data.SQLite.
• Thanks to the open source developer community, established technologies can be integrated into SuCri and extended.

4. Other tools and libraries

• Microsoft SQL / SQLite, database systems for performance and consistency in Module 3.
• CSV/XLSX interfaces, for exporting bills of materials and reports to common Office formats.
• Cryptolens, library for license verification.
