5.2.6. Screw insertion, Module 3 Settings

Overview
Defines how screws and anchors of a new connection are inserted.
Where can I find the setting?
Open the Settings window with the command SuCriSettings or on the SuCri ribbon via the Settings button. On the left, select the Module 3 tab, General section. There, the setting is called Screw insertion mode. Every change is saved immediately; there is no save button on this tab.
Values
The default value of the ScrewInsertionMode setting is Normal insertion (value 0).
Possible values:
- Normal insertion (0): complete models; the BOM status comes from the part definition.
- Not inserted (1): the simplified model of the part is used, if available.
- Inserted as existing parts (2): complete models; screws and anchors are marked as existing, i.e. not numbered and not included in the bill of materials.
- Not inserted and mark as existing (3): simplified model, screws and anchors are marked as existing.
