Display line number and SupportTag as a label

When you transfer supports from AutoCAD Plant 3D to Advance Steel, SuCri passes selected Plant 3D properties of the support on to the special part in Advance Steel as user attributes. By default, these are the support tag (Tag), the line number (LineNumberTag) and the size description (PartSizeLongDesc). In Advance Steel, you can then use these user attributes in annotations and labels.

Prerequisites

SuCri Module 2 (Plant 3D) and SuCri Module 3 (Advance Steel) are installed.
The supports are attached in Plant 3D with an SU number, and the properties Tag and LineNumberTag are filled in there.

Effect	When exporting with `SuCri2ExportPrimarySupport`, the values of the listed properties are assigned from left to right to user attributes 01 to 10 of the special part.

Step-by-step guide

Check the attribute list: Open the "Settings" window and check the "Exported attributes (01-10)" setting on the "Module 2" tab. With the default value, the support tag ends up in user attribute 01, the line number in user attribute 02 and the size description in user attribute 03. Change the order or add further properties if your annotation needs other values, and click "Save".
Export the supports: Export the supports in Plant 3D with SuCri2ExportPrimarySupport (all supports) or SuCri2ExportPrimarySupportForSelection (only the selected supports).
Import into Advance Steel: Import the supports into Advance Steel with SuCri3ImportSupports. SuCri creates special parts and writes the exported values into their user attributes.

Result: In the properties of the special part, the tag and line number are stored in the user attributes.
Set up the annotation: Use the user attributes in the annotation or label definitions of Advance Steel. This configuration is done in Advance Steel itself and is usually carried out by the CAD administrator.

Important notes

Order matters: The position in the list determines the user attribute. If you change the list, the values shift between the attributes; adjust the annotation in Advance Steel accordingly.
Values are transferred on export: If the tag or line number changes in Plant 3D, export and import the affected supports again.
Consistency: Make sure that the naming of the line numbers complies with the company's internal standards to avoid errors in the documentation.

Troubleshooting

User attributes are empty: Check whether the properties are filled in on the support in Plant 3D and whether the property names in "Exported attributes (01-10)" are spelled exactly.
Wrong value in the label: Check whether the annotation in Advance Steel refers to the correct user attribute (position in the attribute list).
Labels are not displayed: Check in Advance Steel whether layer visibility for annotations is enabled and the correct view style has been selected.

Export supports (SuCri2ExportPrimarySupport), transfers the supports including attributes.
Export selected supports (SuCri2ExportPrimarySupportForSelection), exports only the selected supports.
Import supports (SuCri3ImportSupports), creates the special parts in Advance Steel.
