Guide to the user interface (UI)

In this section you will find a detailed overview of the different user interfaces of the individual software modules. These guides help you to find your way around the respective working environments efficiently and to make optimal use of the available functions.

Common elements of all modules

• SuCri ribbon: Each module has its own group on the SuCri tab (for example Module 2) with one button for each licensed manufacturer. Next to it are the shared groups Settings and Licences (license manager).
• Settings window: With the Settings button in the ribbon or the command SuCriSettings you open a shared window with one tab per installed module. At the top right you set the user interface language globally (English or German). The setting applies to all modules and the license manager, so there is no need to change it in each module window. You can find details under 5. Settings of the SuCri modules.
• SuCri tool palette: You can pin the commands of Module 2, Module 3 and Module 4 to a shared tool palette using the pin icon in the module window. Each module gets its own tab there. With Unpin you return to the module window.
• Support request: You send support requests via the license manager (SuCri ribbon, Licences group, Manager button). There you open the Support window, which you use to send us your request together with files directly.

The description of the controls of Module 5 (ribbon group Module 5, dialog Create secondary beam, window Module 5 Secondary Steel and context menu SuCri Typical) is currently being prepared.

We recommend that you first familiarize yourself with the general structure of the user interfaces so that you can grasp the module-specific features more quickly.
