Overview
Annotate view with ortho annotations sets the annotations of an orthogonal view automatically, instead of object by object by hand. In the Plant 3D™ standard, you select the information via the context menu, click into the viewport and then on the object, and this individually for each object in each viewport.
Module 4 takes this off your hands and also places the annotations at suitable positions: pulled out orthogonally and in one line.
Where do I find the function?
In the Module 4 window under Drawings, there automatic annotations. Alternatively via the command line with SuCri4PlantOrthoAnnotate.

How it works in detail
You first select the viewport and decide what should happen to the existing annotations. Then you determine what the annotation refers to, such as the pipes with Center of Pipe or the steel beams with Top of Steel.
Because the decision about the old annotations is made anew on each call, several runs can be combined: first set the pipe heights, then in the second run add the steel construction heights while keeping the existing ones.
Application examples
Example 1: Pipe and steel construction heights one after another
In the first run Center of Pipe for the pipes, in the second Top of Steel for the beams, keeping the existing annotations. The result is a fully annotated view.
Example 2: Set up the annotation anew
If the annotations have become disordered, choose Replace when calling the function. Everything is cleanly repositioned.

- Choose keep or replace deliberately: This is the decisive switch when you combine several runs.
- Applies to all ortho annotations: Not only for heights, but for every annotation that Plant 3D™ offers there.
