Interface no longer visible

It can happen that the dashboard of SuCri Module 2 no longer appears even though SuCri is loaded. The dashboard is not a separate program but a window within AutoCAD Plant 3D. It therefore has no entry of its own in the taskbar or in the Task Manager. This guide shows you how to make the dashboard visible again.

Prerequisites

AutoCAD Plant 3D is running and SuCri Module 2 is loaded (the "SuCri" tab is present in the ribbon).

Step-by-step guide

1. Check the pinned mode

   Most common cause: The dashboard was pinned to the SuCri tool palette with Pin to tool palette. In this mode, the dashboard is deliberately hidden, and the Module 2 commands are located on the tool palette. This mode is retained even after a restart.

2. Unpin the dashboard

   On the SuCri tool palette, open the Module 2 tab and click Unpin.

   Result: The dashboard appears again as a separate window.

3. Bring back a window that is off-screen

   If the dashboard is open but cannot be seen (e.g. after disconnecting a second monitor), activate it via the button in the ribbon, press Alt + Leertaste, select Move and use the arrow keys to bring the window back into the visible area. Alternatively, Windows + Umschalt + Pfeiltaste links/rechts moves the active window to the other monitor.

Important notes

• No separate process: Do not look for "SuCri Module 2" in the Task Manager. The dashboard runs in the AutoCAD Plant 3D process.
• Working in pinned mode: If you prefer the pinned mode, you can reach all Module 2 commands via the tool palette. You then do not need the dashboard.
• Monitor configuration: Check your display settings if the problem occurs more often, especially with multiple monitors or remote desktop connections.

Troubleshooting

• The tool palette is not visible either: In the ribbon, click the button that you otherwise use to open Module 2. In pinned mode, SuCri then brings the tool palette to the foreground.
• Support request in pinned mode: The envelope button of the dashboard cannot be reached in this case. Use the Support button on the tool palette instead.
